Jim Gunlock
For more than 30 years Jim has built successful consulting relationships as an executive search professional, serving publicly and privately held clients in a variety of industries. For 14 years he operated his own executive search practice in Denver and Seattle, with an interim three years as a Principal with the L.W. Foote Company in Bellevue, Washington.
He has completed retained executive search assignments for leadership and operations management positions for public and private corporations as well as not-for-profit organizations. He has served a diverse group of small to mid-sized, privately held organization that require professionally managed assistance identifying and selecting effective leaders and managers within all functions of operations.
Earlier in his career, he spent five years as a Partner in retained executive search in the Denver office of A T Kearney, a highly respected international operations oriented consulting firm. His initial exposure to search was in the late 1970s as a Managing Associate in the National Energy Search Practice in Houston with Korn Ferry International.
EDUCATION:
Jim holds a BA in liberal arts degree from Cedarville University in Ohio and an MA in communications degree from Bowling Green State University, also in Ohio.
PERSONAL:
Married for 44 years, he and wife Elizabeth have four adult children and three grandsons. Throughout his professional career Jim has given his time to civic organizations, including Rotary Club and various non-profit organizations. He served ten years on the Board of Trustees of Colorado Christian University in Lakewood, Colorado. He is currently on the Board of iSOEL, an educational enterprise in India and he chairs a C3 Leaders Forum in Kirkland, Washington.

Bruce Erskine
Bruce Erskine has been an executive recruiter in the Seattle area for thirty-five years. His agency, Premier Recruiting Services, was started in 2018 by Bruce after working at Pilon Management Company, Inc. for 26 years. His focus is on contingency searches for direct hire (permanent full-time) positions in the Pacific Northwest including all industries and disciplines. Since 1991, he has recruited and placed over 750 professionals and has developed over 350 new corporate clients. His specialty is in identifying and recruiting “passive” candidates.
He joined Pilon Management Company, Inc., in 1991 as a personnel management consultant and executive recruiter and became a Vice President in 1995. Mr. Erskine has extensive experience in recruiting and placing professionals in industries such as software, banking, manufacturing, mortgage lending, biomedical manufacturing and wholesale distribution.
Bruce graduated from Oberlin College in 1984 with a BA in History and Mathematics. While in college, he worked as a trainer in the management information services department of the First National Bank of Chicago. Mr. Erskine taught high school mathematics for the Peace Corps in the Central African Republic between 1987 and 1989. Returning to graduate school at the University of Michigan, he was awarded an MBA in Human Resource Management and Finance in 1991. He became a member of the personnel department at Exxon Corporation following graduate school.
