Retained Executive Search

Assistance for organizations in need of full-time leaders for key management and operating roles.

Our approach and methodology focuses on the most valuable ingredients to an organization’s success: exceptional leadership, sound management of resources and a strategic understanding of the enterprise. We manage every aspect of the search process carefully and thoroughly. Our use of networking and sourcing techniques maximizes exposure of our client's opportunity to potential candidates who may not be actively seeking a career change.

We seek to understand thoroughly our client's organizational needs. We then articulate those requirements with focus and clarity. We present the opportunity in a manner that reflects the highest level of quality and professionalism. As outsiders, we can provide third-party objectivity in the assessment and selection of candidates. We are unbiased and critical in our analysis of the client's requirements and expectations. We also operate with a high level of confidentiality, handling sensitive organizational and political issues with utmost discretion.

From our initial meetings with the client we begin with a thorough benchmarking process, which when completed serves as a standard against which every prospective candidate is measured.

We then conduct a comprehensive search for the most qualified executive for the position. During the course of the search, we keep the client regularly informed of our progress and provide periodic progress reports. We ask that our clients provide us with information and any appropriate sources that might be useful in our preliminary research effort. This enables us to focus and target our efforts and produce results as quickly as possible.

Because individuals with the requisite qualities and experiences are not often seeking a career change, they must be identified and attracted. We research companies and organizations where the desired candidates are most likely to be found. This is done through various databases as well as from the information we have developed from previous search engagements.

Interim Executive Management Services

Connect talented contract professionals with short-term projects and temporary assignments

Not all mission-critical needs require a permanent placement solution. Often, times of transition, exploration or challenge are best addressed by having a qualified professional provide targeted expertise to short-term projects or over a specified time frame. This option is offered on a part-time or full-time basis. C.O. O. Services – Search LLC has a cadre of contract executives and managers with functional expertise in operations that can accelerate your organization’s success.

Trial Solutions that Lead to Permanent Placement

After a trial period of less than a year.

C.O. O. Services – Search LLC offers a try-and-buy option where a contracted executive joins the client organization and after a mutually successful term becomes a permanent employee with that organization.

It is sometimes beneficial for the client company and the qualified candidate to take a “look and see” approach before entering into a long-term employment relationship. Often we are asked to provide expertise to solve operational problems that require immediate attention, yet there may be uncertainty about whether permanent employment is the appropriate solution.

Likewise, for the candidate who is in career transition this option affords an opportunity to learn about the culture of the organization and more fully understand the role and its impact before committing to long-term employment. After three to six months of contract work with the client our independent contractors find themselves hired as a full-time member of the client management team. When this happens, the client company compensates us with a fair and reasonable buy-out of the contract. It becomes a win-win-win for all parties.
